Dave McCarthy

Dave McCarthy has 30+ years experience working in businesses undergoing rapid transformation, employing skills as an operating executive and as a consultant.

He began his career in professional services, first in the corporate finance department of the First Boston Corporation and then as a consultant with Bain & Company. Following that, he spent 13 years in the formation and development of a enterprise software and services company that was ultimately sold to Oracle Corporation, after which he served as Vice President of Global Strategy and Marketing for Oracle’s Worldwide Financial Services Division.

Since 2005, Dave has devoted his efforts exclusively to companies facing transition, whether through the opportunities of growth or distress. He has been brought into start-up and middle market portfolio company situations by venture capital, private equity and mezzanine lending funds.

He has served as CEO, COO, advisor and board member in multiple situations.

Dave holds an undergraduate degree in Political Economy from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University.


David Kane

After several years in commercial banking, David Kane began a 20 year career in the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry, ultimately managing a highly successfully turnaround (as owner) of an aerospace and defense manufacturing concern which he sold to private equity interests.

Since that time he has consulted with private companies, lenders and private equity funds in transforming operations and improving financial reporting and accounting systems. These activities have encompassed multiple industries, including: government services contracting, aerospace & defense manufacturing, consumer products, film post production and real estate investment. He has acted as COO and CFO in these engagements.

David currently serves as the strategic and operational advisor to a large, diversified family office.

He holds a BS degree in finance from Florida State University.
